The German trade fair for ground investigation equipment, accessories, and tools for geotechnical, contaminated land, and site exploration took place on May 11 and 12 in Essen. As in previous years, we were on site again as an exhibitor.
After the fair was cancelled in previous years due to the pandemic, Germany's leading geotechnical trade fair returned in 2023, once again held on the premises of Carl Hamm GmbH in Essen-Kupferdreh.
More than 30 well-known manufacturers of geotechnical equipment presented their latest developments both indoors and outdoors, including large drill rigs, tools, and accessories for geotechnical, contaminated land, and site exploration.
At KURTH's trade fair stand, alongside all our other drill rigs and drilling masts, the centerpiece was the WOTAN on display — a machine developed in collaboration with Carl Hamm GmbH that can be used for both geotechnical sounding and drilling purposes. The base of the machine is KURTH's KB 12, fitted with Carl Hamm GmbH's "ARGOS" drilling mast.
